Character Locker Project:
Due 1/5/2018
Description of Project: Students must read a novel and create a locker with aspects specific to one of the main characters in the novel. The locker must be 3D. Some examples from the past include students using shoeboxes. The outside of the locker represents how the world sees the character. The inside of their locker should represent their inner traits and specific events, visuals from the story that explain the character's development. Planning page attached at the bottom of this page must be attached for full credit.
Outside of the Locker: Must be colorfully decorated with at least 7 visuals/symbols that represent the image of the outside of your character and how the world views them. Complete the chart in your planning page writing what the symbol/visual is and how it is important to understanding your character.
Inside of the Locker: Must also be colorfully decorated. However, there must be 10 visuals/symbols that represent the inner traits and plot events that are important to the development of your character. Complete the chart on your planning page before adding the symbols to your locker.
The back of the locker: Should have the book title, author, and character's name. There should be a 50 word summary of the book in your own words. There should also be 100 words on the back to describe your character, noting important changes in your character from the beginning of the story until the end.
