Quarter 4 Project
This project will be different, as it will be completed in class with a group. Students will be responsible for some at home independent reading.
Each Cores Project Also Varies Slightly Due to Some Classes still working on Romiette and Julio. However, all Cores will be using literature to complete a literature analysis folder in which they will all be responsible for:
*Completing One Index Card 5-7 sentences with a summary about the section they were assigned to read
*Completing One index Card with a New/Unknown Word and using Context clues to determine the meaning of the new word.
*Completing One Index Card that analyzes one of the characters in a novel. A decision they made, and why they made that decision.
*Completing One index Card on the Plot of the story: Analyze how the Exposition, Conflict, Rising Actions, Climax, Falling Actions, or Resolution adds to the message of the story.
*Completing one Index Card with an important Quote from the Text, and making an inference from that quote about the novel.
*Completing one index Card with text to support one theme of the story.
Each child will be graded indepdently on whether or not they contributed in all these areas. Each child will also be given a portion of their grade on whether or not they came prepared to group. Please see attached documents below for the requirements and grading rubric.
